Travel to Jordan — Visas

Jordan offers single, double, and multiple-entry tourist visas, with stays ranging from 1 month to 5 years. A single-entry visa (about 40 JD) can be obtained on arrival or online as an e-visa. The Jordan Pass may waive visa fees and includes entry to major sites for visitors staying more than three nights. It is available in three categories to suit different trip types — check the options through the link.

Touring Jordan

Citadel & Roman Theater - Amman

The Citadel (Jabal al-Qal’a): Hilltop views, hidden murals, the city’s giant flag (unless it's laundry day), and ancient ruins. Afterwards, you can eat and drink at Dar Ne'meh located within the Citadel, offering authentic local food, drinks, panoramic city views, and a market supporting local women. Roman Theater: A well-preserved amphitheater still used for performances in downtown. Then, you can take a stroll for local flavors: falafel at Abu Hashem, kunafa at Habiba and a visit to the local markets.

As-Salt & Madaba - A short drive from Amman

Northwest of Amman: As-Salt's beautiful architecture and lively old market streets, is perfect for wandering along, visiting restored merchant houses turned into museums and cultural spaces, and pausing for food or coffee at Beit Aziz or Aktham’s Coffee House. Southwest of Amman: Madaba is known as the City of Mosaics and is home to the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land at St. George’s Church. The town features preserved mosaics, historic churches, and local shops. After exploring, you can enjoy a meal at Haret Jdoudna or Carob House.

Al Ma’wa for Nature & Wildlife — For Animal Lovers

Al Ma’wa is a rescue and rehabilitation sanctuary for lions, bears, and other animals relocated from conflict zones or unsuitable captivity. It’s an ethical, educational experience focused on animal welfare and conservation.

Jerash — The Ancient Roman City

Walk through colonnaded streets, theaters, plazas, and temples in this impressive ancient city in northern Jordan. After a long, hot day under the sun, you can relax with a meal at one of Jerash’s many local restaurants. Umm Khalil, a favorite of ours, serves delicious Lebanese dishes.

Umm Qais Ruins

Overlooking the Golan Heights, the Sea of Galilee, and the Jordan Valley, a beautiful Roman-era ruins and peaceful scenery. Many visitors enjoy a meal or sunset drink at Romero Umm Qais with panoramic views.

Dead Sea - the Lowest Point on Earth

Relax, float, and enjoy mineral mud treatments in the world-famous salty waters. You can make it a day trip using passes at many hotels along the shore, or spend the night — our favorite is Kempinski Ishtar.

Wadi Mujib — Canyon Hikes & Water Adventures

Water canyoning through a sandstone gorge, wading, climbing, and following the stream toward a waterfall, refreshing and ideal for adventurous travelers.

Wadi Rum — Valley of the Moon

A perfect time where the sea is warm and ideal for snorkeling, diving, glass-boat tours, and relaxing by the water. A refreshing break from the summer heat.

Petra - The Rose City

Walk through the Siq canyon and watch the Treasury appear at the end, one of the world’s most iconic sights. Continue to the Royal Tombs, the Monastery, and scenic viewpoints.

Aqaba — Red Sea

A perfect time where the sea is warm and ideal for snorkeling, diving, glass-boat tours, and relaxing by the water. A refreshing break from the summer heat.
